The global population is increasing drastically, over 300 million people is going to be 65+ because of the increase in life expectancy. In united states currently, there is over 40 million people who are over 65+ already. Over the next 15 years, the united states baby bloomers will highly age into the distributed retirement age (over 65) Those in more developed countries have an additional 3 months added to their life expectancy for every year. Globally, those aged 65+ outnumber those who are aged 5 and under. Canada, those who are 65+ outnumber those who are 15 and under. One reason is because we are living longer, another is fertility. Through graphical image, those in more developed regions have lower fertility rate compared to the world.
