Social model of health as in my first assignment i talked about entire human population being at risk rather than focusing on an individual. Many arguments related causes of illness to the socio-economic factors that were results of capitalist production. The primary cause of lung cancer is first hand cigarette smoking and second hand cigarette smoking. It also majorly affects our care fund that is paid through taxes. Lifestyle-behavioural model of health as the focus is specifically on lung cancer caused due to cigarette smoking that is a lifestyle of choice. Also, the lifestyle of an individual was related to the care funding paid through taxes. This is because the assignment talks about high illiterate rates in population resulting in high rate of smoking during ww2. It also focuses on the western culture during 70s when cigarette smoking was a trend and nobody was aware of the consequences of lung cancer.
