Seeing inequalities through feminist and gender analytical frameworks. How diff institutions think about the roles of education. How their development theories and theories from in class colonial, modernization, etc and if they were applicable to those situations . Along the same lines, we"ve been looking at health with those kinds of lense. And now this is a different kind of health and inequality, and inequalities that intersect with gender. Overarching theme relationship between what we refer to as gender as a complex idea, as development is. Relationship between gender and dev, and how different framing between these two have different kind of policy and practical implications. The way you frame gender will have a direct influence on how you think of the solutions which address gender inequalities . Policy practicioners and how they go about their work on trying to reduce inequalities. Tonight there"s always a tendency in dev studies to only see gender with women.
