Class reflection week 4 by: alyssa karpouzis 999120179. After the presentation we ended up taking up the case and just discussing the procedure in which the harvard students should analyze the data. We also talked about the difference in qualitative data and quantitative data and said that for this case qualitative data would be a lot better than quantitative data. The reason for this is because if the kids just fill out a questionnaire, representing quantitative data, then they could lie a lot because they wouldn"t want to say if they did drugs for example. However, conducting focus groups which is what the harvard students did allows the kids to have a discussion on the topic and would allow for ideas to be brought up during the discussion. During this class my group and i were conducting our presentation on boston fights. Therefore i was fully active in today"s lecture.
