Document Summary

No that religious beliefs lack rational support but that they are positively irrational. Not all 4 can be true at the same time, but the theologian must admit all. We could say evil is some sort of illusion. Saying that evil is an illusion is basically telling someone who cut their finger off that the pain. How can anyone listen to stories like this and say evil does not exist? - inwagen that they"re facing is just an illusion. That he is omnipotent means that he can do anything that doesn"t involve an intrinsic impossibility. - inwagen. If god"s morally perfect it means that he cannot do anything that is morally wrong. Morally perfect wants to eliminate all evil. The conclusion that god does not exist does not follow logically . God might have reason for allowing evil to exist in that, in his mind, outweigh the desirability of the non existence of evil.
