Abortion is about autonomy of fetus vs autonomy of parent. 90% of abortions are performed in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Bible says that abortions are immoral after you can feel the baby inside you. In 1973 roe anted a nontherapeutic abortion, at the time texas only allowed therapeutic abortions. Texas appealed, and the supreme court ruled that no state can ban abortions unless after. Right now, in the us it was signed that there wont be funding for abortion clinics. He says its not good for humanity, assumes killing is immoral. His answer is that killing is wrong because you are taking someone"s future, which takes their enjoyment, happiness. Major objections is that its not clear why this applies to a fetus. For instance, why stop at a fetus, why not a sperm. This is a problem because can cause over population. Supererogatory: above and beyond what is required.
