Argument 1 made in support of thesis (1-2 sentences): Through political economy boswell explains how it is necessary to adopt the perspective of a state in order to understand its interests in foreign policy. Boswell also states that in order for a state to secure legitimacy it focuses on four conditions needed for migration policy that is security, accumulation, fairness, and institutional legitimacy. Argument 2 made in support of thesis (1-2 sentences): Boswell explains how certain states don t meet the standard of achieving state legitimacy due to not meeting the four conditions. He than explains how the problem or dilemma of not achieving legitimacy has been avoided due to five main concepts or flows. Summary of evidence supporting argument 1 (1-2 sentences): Boswell explains how institutions were needed to have a certain influence on migration policy under their own interests.
