The sensory strip: telling us things about neglect; one lobe is more worried about space, the other is more worried about the body, sensory strip and motor strip (frontal lobes) sensory strip; very important. Parts of the strip relate to parts of the body. Left sensory strip; detects input on the right side of the body and vice versa. If something hits the right hand; will go on the left side of sensory lobe. Has very big hands, lips- we have a lot of sensory brain tissue on genitals: for motor strip; Just like sensory it has corresponding body parts. Depends on how much control we have on part of body. Hands are even bigger because we interact with our hands. We have a lot of motor cortex for just our hands, mouth and vocal cords as well. Left side of brain controls right side of body. Primary goal; to act/ do something (uses motor cortex to do it )
