Eugenics: the weak and dumb people should not be able to breed; selections of people who can breed (so there needs to be a scale of some sort to determine who can breed) ~ hitler movement. There are certain stimulus that come to us naturally not really learned ex. digestive process (unconditioned response) when food (unconditioned stimulus) is eaten this is known as unconditioned response . Basically, if the ucr proves itself unnecessary in the presence of some ucs the ucr may occur less and less. Classical conditioning : pavlov he saw that the dogs were responding to food being taken out. Association: previously neutral stimulus is associated with another stimulus we have a response for then we learn to respond that way for the neutral stimulus. Ex. when you get shot you inch but with the easy button the person will inch but @ smaller level.
