One could be generally healthy but have a cold they are still healthy. Mental health was not given the same importance as physical health. When someone is ill and it leads to premature death. Biomedical model: absence of disease means the individual is healthy. Reaching true optimum means being balanced through all 3 components. Canadian health care is more robust and beneficial in comparison to american. Health behaviours (i. e. exercise, not smoking or drinking) Listen to doctors ( adhere to med recommendations)
