There is a lot of political controversy on this topic. Most psychological research focuses on the average human: nomothetic research. Research that focuses on the individual differences between people often lead to political controversy. The smarter citizens are, the stronger the economy will be countries therefore invest in education in the form of tax (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) Whether certain approaches to education lead to higher levels of success. Allows education to be customized/shaped to the ability of children. (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) Some people are wired better and so can process info faster than others. He thought the more efficient the neuro-wiring the more intelligent the person (biological reason). He focused on measuring sensory discriminations intellectual prowess. Alfred binet tired to measure intelligence of children. Didn"t believe in galton"s ideas (biological reasoning)
