Just b/c someone is doing something weird, it doesn"t mean that their (cid:1) brain is that much different from yours. Only a small change in the brain can cause something to go wrong. (cid:1) (cid:1) Person that has lots of health problems but there is no physiological basis for them. More prominent in females, but by not much. Have multiple doctorssince one might refuse them. Similar to hypochondriasis but not really: hypochondriasis is when you learn about a disease and then you feel like you have that disease. Runs in families and when it happens to males, they are usually (cid:1) (cid:1) (cid:1) alcoholics anymore. These are the people sigmund freud studied and are not common: blindness, deafness, loss of feeling, paralysis (neurological, they act they are blind etc, but really are not. Panic attacks (1. 6 %, women twice as likely)
