Behaviour, (and stress: lecture 17) can influence your health. The way we behave impacts health and how long we will live, but there are components of genetics and the environment too. Different definitions: biomedical model: health is an absence of disease . Only looks at the biological part of disease: continuum of illness to wellness (see figure below) Wellbeing is more than an abscense of illness, there is a continuum of being ill to well.
