An ability to measure intelligence might be beneficial in a number of ways but also can be very controversial o o o. Benefit: allows you to asses whether certain educational approaches lead to higher levels of success. A popular belief at one time was that intelligence was some thing a child got from families or parents. If that"s was the case a lot of hat we do wouldn"t change intelligence.
