Cell differentiation cell start to specialize in specific structure and function. Unspecialized and can renew through cell division. Can be introduced to become any tissue etc. in labs. Potential to treat disease e. g. diabetes pancreas cells. Normal part of the developmental process selective death. E. g. hand development cells have to die in between fingers or else you will have webbed-fingers. Gestation: prenatal period of development between conception and birth. Normal range between 37 and 41 weeks. Embryonic cells will specialize to become diff cells, diff layers.
