Document Summary
Baseline phase determine the level of target behaviour before any treatment is done. Help us figure out treatment plan and be able to determine if actually able to implement change and see improvement. Indirect assessment procedures not directly observing behaviour because not possible or not feasible. Experimental assessment procedures can be more sure and accurate. Treatment phase design actual treatment program using data you have gathered. Implement program and monitor or measure behaviour as you go through the treatment phase. Important to track target behaviour throughout treatment phase to see if behaviour changing, to actually know to continue with treatment or to change it etc. Follow up phase once treatment done have some follow up appointment to see how the change has been maintained. Ideally you want to be as unobtrusive as possible. Research in this field"s objective is about the treatment actually leading to change in the target behaviour rather than some random variable.
