Document Summary

V1 and v2 are areas where certain tasks of vision happen. Extinction and neglect may show some understanding of how attention is affected after something happens. Green path is the flow of information processing. Bottom up flow of information from retina to higher level visual areas. Maybe at early stages, the path is intersected. May turn off the pipeline for one ear and open it for one ear to listen to a certain person. Can choose what want to pay attention to. But can still choose what pay attention to. Semantic processes can be performed without paying attention to it. Both models may be working, but stop certain levels of each path. Perceptual load: things may be processed based on which level. Area v5 and mt is the motion area. Load matters to which degree can process something.
