Typically towards women who are seen as taking power from men. Sometimes men believe that they are more competent than women, and explicitly believe that men deserve more power. They believe that women are trying to leverage their sexuality to achieve power in society belief that women are sneaky in order to get power in society. Example: saving women before men, holding doors for women. Belief that women need to be protected, theyre special, warm and fuzzy. Women should be cherished and protected by men. Women should be loved and taken care of by men. Women are the better sex, and have superior qualities to them.
