The types of q"s you ask is how you get your answers. Gather knowledge = represent a truth about our world around us (and inside us: different methods, earliest philosophers and theologians asked and answered similar questions, we"re just doing it in a diff way. Sub-disciplines: each has its own way they answer the question. Scientific method is what we use is it the best approach: empirical. Its not the only way; there are other ways! The natural limitations of science and thomas kuhn. Kuhn: the answers you get depend upon the questions you ask science evolved & science had trends/fads. These are the methods we ought/not out to use. & become the norm, which would last yrs/decades. What you would have in every norm/normal science stage, is voices of decent: certain researchers have options/theories/findings that are of contrary to that norm/normal science of that time.
