Document Summary

Learning: a relatively enduring change in behaviour (emotions: a different way of thinking, feeling, speaking, etc, it occurs when animals benefit from experience so that their behavior is better adapted to the environment. Reward system (punishment = avoidance: changes the way you think and feel. Can change your emotional behavior via behaviorism (long-term changes: even physical behaviour can increased (e. g. Experience has change on your behavior even if it didn"t directly happen to you, but you observed it through another person: not necessarily what happened to you . Classical conditioning: pairing stimulus-response happens before the behaviour (1) neutral stimulus no response. Unconditioned stimulus unconditioned response (2) pairing: neutral stimulus + unconditioned stimulus unconditioned response (3) conditioned stimulus conditioned response. Acquisition: obtaining the learning: contiguity: bond together in time (stimulus + response pairing occurs close in time simultaneously) Extinction: presentation of feared stimulus without the occurrence of the feared response: not unlearning new learning occurs.
