Three types of: achievement: captures previous learning, aptitude: focus on potential for learning a specific skill, intelligence: general potential independent of previous learning. Personality tests: structured (objective): unambiguous interpretation and stimuli (e. g. Mmpi: projective: ambiguous interpretation and stimuli (e. g. Round 1: spend one day and night in a small isolated booth composing essays on assigned topics and writing a poem. Round 2: three separate sessions of three days and three nights.
