Defining aggression and violence: aggression any behavior directed towards another individual that is carried out with the proximate (immediate) intent to cause harm (anderson & bushman, 2002) If you do sth to intentionally to cause harm to somebody immediately that is called aggression. Don"t have to hit them, just speaking maliciously about someone counts as aggression under this definition. Male more prone to express physical aggression. Female bullying on facebook is a form of aggression too by isolating w/ slander: violence - aggression that has extreme harm as its goal (anderson & bushman, 2002) Go beyond isolating someone for extreme harm.
