The division of labour involves taking one job and breaking it up into many different tasks. Example: making the pin most famous example of division of labour. Before division of labour, we had people making the pin from start to finish. 200 pins made if 10 people working on it vs. 48 000 pins made if it was broken up to 18 different tasks making production increase and so we have more to sell. Dexterity is how you train your body to move in a particular job. Example: serving food at kfc in a certain way saves time, which means we can get more meals to customers and sell more products. But by time saving, smith meant something else. Time saving is about only having a few tasks to do instead of having the entire job to do. Time saving comes from not switching from job to job. We divide the original job into many tasks.
