She discusses census of 2006; it is the first time in canadas history that we included information about same sex marriages. 2006 census also captured several important patterns that have evolved over time and come to our attention. The fact that census same couple relation increased fast time faster than heterosexual relations. Same sex marriages also increased 5 times faster than heterosexual marriage. This is because the same sex couples relation is not legal, and it encourages them to register their marriage. In addition same sex relations existed even before it was made legal, therefore the legislation only made it more public. Based on these statistics, those individuals whose grandparents came to canada 80 years ago. Their organization of family is very different compared to those who moved to canada 30 years ago. This states that society has changed in canada. The routines that family engage in everyday life.
