Stab22h3 - lecture #1 - introduction & syllabus overview. Use uoft email address when sending emails to professor. Office hours: tu 9:00-10:00, tu 13:00- 14:00, fr 9:00-10:00 in ic344. All information for and about the course will be posted on this webpage: announcements, assignments, midterm & final information, office hours. Custom edition for stab22 of stats: data and models (2018). Textbook (custom edition) comes with student solutions manual and the software mystatlab and statcrunch. In class, statcrunch software (located on the web) will be used. Quizzes: for each student, two grades for quizzes and webwork assigns is assigned, described below: grade 1: 15% fo quizzes + 5% for webwork assigns, grade 2: 20% for quizzes. Weekly tutorials will start from monday september 10th and you must attend, in other words, they are mandatory. Quizzes will be written in each tutorial in which you are enrolled and will start the week of monday september 17th.
