Formal qualities (component of shape, colour, texture, space, and line) is relative: usually when we give characteristics to a certain image, we will always compare it to other images we encounter. We like to compare certain images or art objects to another image or art object that share similar characteristics such as shape, colour, texture, line and utility. Brutalism has two stylish characteristics: the used of rough unfinished concrete as surface and its chunky, bunky, structural form has to used both of these two stylistic trait in order to be brutalized. The french word for brutalism is beton brut which can be mean concrete: buildings, schools and etc. can be described as brutalism. John andrew believed that the location of utsc was well putted due to good weather control, well spacing in the inside. John andrew was not influenced by the aztecs (pyramids)
