Individuals: violent behavior, violent attitudes, sense of impunity. Institutions: lack of police discipline/changes, prison industrial complex, media reporting, family breakdown, policies that put people at risk, cas lack of protection. Ideas: othering/dehumanization, bad apples theory, racism, (cid:862)a(cid:272)ti(cid:448)e refusal to k(cid:374)o(cid:449)(cid:863, serial killers are the problem, victim blaming. How are you connected to that: edu(cid:272)ate a(cid:374)d i(cid:374)for(cid:373) people you do(cid:374)"t k(cid:374)o(cid:449, do resear(cid:272)h a(cid:271)out (cid:449)hat"s goi(cid:374)g o(cid:374) right (cid:374)o(cid:449) What are you going to do: make change. It is the vision of a different reality that propels the reformulation of the present. Although we may not find a common world of women in the future, we may find a world of meaningful connections based on all kinds of histories, knowledges, and politics.
