It relates to institution ( families, schools, universities) Recent studies have shown that transgender individuals are at high risk of being victims of violence. => according to statistics, women are most at risk of homicide when they are in their own homes. Over 100 million women are missing worldwide as a result of son preference and practices like female infanticide, sex- selective abortions, and systematic neglect of girls. => gender scholars have highlighted the violence experienced by men in the criminal justice system. => men sometimes experience sexual violence in prisons. => men who are perceived as "feminine"" are usually targeted. Human rights watch have highlighted the issue of prison rape in many countries.
