Resource towns: being dependent on a single resource/industry. When that resource is no longer needed/available -> town becomes a ghost-town because people leave to find work elsewhere. Made for young workers and their families -> lack of infrastructure and specialization for the elderly and those with chronic illnesses etc. People have begun moving into these ghost resource towns (moving in because it"s cheap to live there)
