Soon-yi"s mitochondria, rapidly take up pyruvate from aerobic glycolysis. Pyruvate coming from glycolysis, now entered by transporter into mitochondria into matrix. Pyruvate is converted to acetyl coa via the pyruvate dehydrogenase (pdh) complex: use nad and coenzyme a to make acetyl coa, make acetyl coa and release co2, thiamine, fad, nad+ and coenzyme a.
