Ares punished him by making him be his slave for 8 years. On top of that he gave him arphotidtes and ares daughter harmoneia as his bride o. Compare to story of apollo founding delphi by killing a dragon o o o o. Nymph, telphusa, leads hi to the plasce of the dragon and apollo punishes dat bitty. Second foundation = twins amphion and zethus who are conceived by antipoe and zeus in disguise.
