Interdisciplinary study of the mind combined with neuroscience, psychology, Cogsci tries to study the mind with each levels and how each levels interact with. What you study and how you study in cogsci (levels of reality/disciplines that philosophy, computer science etc each other study those levels) Minds don"t work in isolation - they work in sophisticated is through language networks and minds (language and culture were putting people together) In the late 70"s people started becoming more interested in the levels mentioned. The idea that cognitive science just stands for the root term of all the cognitive. Decides to take a little bit of each study but not combine them. Most rigorous and effective way of cognitive science. Having an overview and a structural bridge between each subject that builds into each of the disciplines to have a better understanding. Found everywhere, in our language, within us etc. Matches but has relevant differences to help with understanding.
