[3] existence of a watch implies existence of watch maker. Deities don"t make mistakes, everything perfectly adapted. There were 3 attempts to look away from theory of stasis. People were wondering why we have disease and parasites in a world that is created by perfect god. Philosophers and scientists were trying to move away from authority.
