Since he was writing the prelude before the recluse, it was about what kind of human being he is. The prelude became the great epic in the end. The prelude was originally preparation for a great epic. Pause where wordsworth reflects on his early debt to reading. Reading and immersion in nature are both important. He"s excited and full of anticipation and longing of passing the alps.
