In literature, it is the psychology of the author, the reader and within the text itself and the universe apart from the text, reader and the authir i. e people, action, idea, feeling, etc that are being studied. E. g post traumatic syndrome disorder whithin the literary text. The study of the human characteristics within the literary work. E. g, there"s a character whose quiet and kind, we can alayzed the underlying cause of that character"s behavior and what cause him/her to be kind and quiet. Literature can be the source of psychological data. Literture is written about human experiences, and often depicts the private and public lives of individuals and groups. Literature reports on human experience s in different historical ears and societies. Emotional experience of certain people within the literary text and what kind of emotion that person is experiencing while he/she uttering something can be the source of psychological data.
