Then market is for the people and interesting how different types of architecture used in different places ie. imperial forum used marble, glitzy makeover of the space, but market is just concrete. Very much in spirit, quoting classical architecture. Two stories but post and lintel, with exedra in the end of the hall, probably housing much statuaries. Remember that from augustus onwards, there is lots of use of coloured marble, that come from all over the roman empire, especially yellow marble shown here. Special format of relief structure and art form that is very roman.
