Named after daring 1863 u. s. civil war raid led by harriet tubman that helped 800 black people escape enslavement (people that came out of enslavement, not called slaves that is a condition) Complex relationships to black liberation, new left, and second-wave feminist movements o o. All of social movements seem to privilege one access of identity.
