Document Summary

Largest protest against the british occurred in boston because they were aware of the disadvantage and advantage issue. Crispus attus: a mulatto fellow, about 27 years of age, 6 feet 2 inches. Short curly hair: knees nearer together than common, killed by other men who came to defend the british man, buried alongside the other men who were killed in the boston massacre. Found with group of rebellious boys who were taunting a british soldier in a bar. The governor of virginia falsely promised slaves freedom in exchange of picking up arms for the british troops. George washington (1770) was convinced in agreeing to the regime of slaves in war. Leaded 800 men: terrorized villages that they were raised, died of an arm infection. Fell ill of small pox: the crown didn"t care much for him when he and his troops fell sick but he stayed loyal, was kidnapped while serving and sent back into slavery, no guarantee of freedom.
