Today, we"re going to continue what we started on monday the italian renaissance. Europe is driven by a series of revolutionary ideas that gave rise to new modes of thought and places where that thought can be realised in a political, social and economic place. When we think of how european history has moved, we"re seeing the manifestation of different models of social and political structure. When we see the creation of the self-actualized individual, the idea of the individual soul and spirit to be able to approach god. Florence: the dominant groups in society still had contacts with the feudal traditions of mediaeval europe. Many aristocrats had palaces with huge towers that dominated a neighbourhood. It made the city dangerous in the extreme. There were other memories of the ancient world. Trade never altogether ended, and because the headquarters of the catholic church was in italy, this headquarter required a need to service the broad bureaucracy.
