The 19th century marks the high point of print and education. There is a much higher access to education due to the rise of public schools and the abundance of literature this makes it so that there are more books to read. We have divided literature into centuries: renaissance: starts with the birth of petrarch (1374) and ends with the death of. We see the renaissance from the 1300s-1500s: the baroque: 1600s. In the 1700s: the enlightenment: the 1800s: romanticism: the age of reason and passion. The 1800s is a more crowded landscape more production and people. There is always an overlap and adaptation between authors and cultures. These authors showed the necessity to react to the hyperationalization that dominated the culture. The culture had reached a high point of materialism. Had a free printing press (major for italy entirely) consciousness and belonging in a community that needs to be presented and discussed.
