In terms of pascoli"s poetry, way of seeing the world of the poet as a creator of worlds. Everything is encapsulated in a general theme: the journey back and fourth (his definition of what evil is all about and the inexplicable source of evil as seen through the eyes of a child) Children view the world naively easily impressed by all things. Na ve: someone that can be easily swayed, lacks experience. Lamanilita- opposite of na ve, new vs. experience of the old world. When we reach that rational approach to life we loose the wonderful approach the small little minute moments. What is gratitude: gratitude causes wonderment that allows us to be appreciative of everyday opportunities. Many of pascoli"s titles consist of one-liner names references to nature (flowers)
