In 1975, the settler population in zimbabwe declared independence from britain having internal colonization. They take over the reigns of the state, not recognized by britain or the un. After they declare independence, the 2nd chimurengoi breaks out: the war soon ends in 1979 and gives independence to zimbabwe, under lancaster house agreement (has been critiques in numerous levels, including land). Land had been disposed, and this agreement provided a kind of land regime reigned in by the idea of the state not being able to expropriate land. Gives white farmers the opportunity to leave zimbabwe with cash in hand: what happened in the next 20 years, early 2000s project of transformation in zimbabwe reached dead end.
