Document Summary
No one person can operate with a complete" perception: people have limited sensitivity in their sensory mechanisms. While someone can interpret something in a certain way, an animal will likely perceive the same thing differently: people also have limited attentional capacity. As one adds to their cognitive load", one"s ability to interpret will deteriorate. E. g. the inability to multi-task: in one"s reality, there are basic sensations and other surrounding aspects, which are not detected. Perception = the initial detection and comprehension of information: perception can also be interpreted as a process of creative story-telling and inference making. It is based on true stories, but true only to oneself. One"s perceived sensations must be used to make a choice and thus an action: the resulting action is based on one"s interpretation of the stimulus, therefore, behaviour follows one"s perception. Reality can thus be altered via misinterpretation.
