Most likely source of e. coli contamination: cattle manure. They test well 5 and consistently tested for e. coli. Torrential downpours washed manures from the fields into the well during a rainstorm. The wells were built near permeable layers. They got of lighter sentence because of gov fund etc. There was failure by individuals, failer by geologist that built that well, Frank was sentenced to 6 months house arrest failure by govn. Dumped 60 gallon drum on the ground out the back door. Not considered a contaminant at the time.
