The scientific field that seeks to understand the nature and causes of individual behavior and thought in social situations our behavior. It is difficult to provide a formal definition for social psychology because of: field"s broad scope, rapid rate of change. Social psychology has also been defined as the scientific study of the way in. One problem with common sense we invoke it after we know the facts . Our experiences and intuition provide an inconsistent and unreliable guide.
