Document Summary
Groups of the cell body is the structure. Lots of the cell body in the center of the brain. The amygdala and the hippocampus are coming out laterally from the midline, so you cannot really see it in the mri image. Hippocampus is very important for the memory formation. What makes the white matter white: the axons, and the fat is one the axons. Corpus callosum: the connections that between the 2 hemispheres. Thalamus has connections for the 2 hemispheres, but so little. If we want to see what would helps you to focus on reading, we looks at the cerebral cortex in the brain. If we want to see where in the brain that helps with the heart beats, we are not gonna looks at the cortex, because the heart just beats on its own. Compare to other animas our brain is highly folded.
