Purpose of human activity (western way of understanding the world, understanding social and moral behavior, what it is that god has will for us) The story of judaism is documented in the hebrew bible. Ethnic tradition: trace their religion through some kind of national narrative. Matters much less what your belief and much more your identity. (hinduism, judaism) Human beings have been created with love but as god discovers human beings are not good at listening. Hence always passing the boundaries god has set. Eventually god believes he needs an example this is how judaism begins.
