Prophecy: god empowers certain humans, they warn humanity or deliver directions. Revelation: way god acts in the world, collected in scripture which has a centrality disasters) (sacred) Afterlife: belief is one life, no reincarnation. Purpose of human activity: enact gods will, follow the best path. Types of religious traditions: missionary- follow asset of beliefs, anyone can join, ethnic- contain a national element that often has a traceable lineage, beliefs aren"t central, identify with a certain land, many different belief systems. The sacred book is the hebrew bible (what i know as the old testament).
