Height tends to be associated with economic success (higher income, rising to the top of one"s occupation quickly, etc) Economic success tends to be associated with higher income in the next generation (sociology connection) Gdppc (ppp) - gross domestic product per capita: total dollar value of goods and services sold in a country in a year (gdp) divided by the number of residents (pc) and adjusted by purchasing power (ppp) The increase in gdppc (ppp) will cause an increase in height. Income may not always be the cause but it is a possible factor. For example, singapore has a very high gdppc (ppp); however, their height has not increased much over the years.
