Those in a dominant posiion will value things that will make their lifestyles beter/easier. Intense feeling expressed in a populaion about an issue that appears to threaten to social order. This reacion is disproporionate to the actual threat posed by the issue: folk devils: people atached to the issue at quesion; they are believed to threaten the social order.
